Some house on fire nearly my apartment

At the early morning, I am very scare!!!!!!!. Because I'm in sweet sleeping, suddenly I hear fire alarm. I hurry up to wake up and dress coat. Then I go out my apartment, I so some house opposite my apartment on fire. How ever 30 minutes ago this house is put out the fire so my apartment is safe.

What is going on if my apartment is on fire?

PS.
I stay in "Petchinda mansion" near Victory Monument at Bangkok.
